Webinar: Strengthening Risk Oversight for Improved Governance and Strategic Benefit
As a result of current economic conditions and market demands for increased transparency, enterprise risk management is rapidly becoming the focal point for initiatives to improve corporate governance. Yet according to a recent survey of enterprise risk management practices, 75% of organizations still do not report key risk exposures to their boards of directors. These organizations are increasingly at risk of regulatory sanctions and preventable yet unforeseen emerging risks to their brands and core strategic initiatives. Mark Beasley, Director of the ERM Initiative, will share insights from recent research conducted with over 300 CFO’s about the current state of enterprise risk oversight. The research uncovered broad dissatisfaction among executives with their organization’s risk management practices and results.
