Welcome, new students!
Orientation for new students at NC State includes two components: university orientation sessions and Poole College of Management orientation sessions. Please follow details provided when you registered for orientation. Following are initial starting times for your scheduled days of orientation.
- June 27-28
- June 28-29
- July 2-3
DAY ONE
8:00 a.m. - NC State's Parents and Student Welcome for incoming freshmen NC State's Talley Student Center, Ballroom.
1:30 p.m. Check-in begins for Poole College's incoming freshmen and their parents, 3400 Nelson Hall (Auditorium) - Map to Nelson Hall. The college's orientation program begins at 2 p.m.
7:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. - Poole College's Reception for Parents of Incoming Freshmen, Nelson Hall Student Commons (second floor)
DAY TWO
9:30 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. - Poole College's Student Advising and Registration, Nelson Hall. Please follow instructions provided during the first day of orientation.
